Ten years ago, a small group of women laced up their trainers on Jesus Green and Let's Run Girls was born. This July, we're coming back to where it all started to celebrate — and we'd love you to join us.

This is a free, informal morning out for our whole community. Whether you've been with us since the beginning or you've only just found us, you are so welcome here.

Join us for a led run or walk along the River Cam, followed by coffee and cake on the green. And if you fancy rounding off the morning with a dip in Jesus Green Lido, even better.

What's on:

🏃 Run or walk — your choice Both options are led by our brilliant Run Leaders and last around 30 minutes, taking in the beautiful River Cam,

☕ Coffee and cake After your run or walk, we'll gather back at the kiosk for cake (provided by us!) and coffee available to buy. This is the heart of the morning — come for a chat, a catch-up and a well-earned slice.

🏊 Optional lido swim For those who want to round off the morning with a swim, Jesus Green Lido will be open. Entry is paid directly at the gate (cash and card accepted) — so bring your swimming kit if you'd like to join in. No pressure at all — plenty of people will be staying on the green with their cake.

What to bring:

• Swimming kit and a towel if you're planning a dip (you will be able to leave bags with a few non-running volunteers at the meeting point)

• Card or cash for lido entry and coffee

Good to know:

• This is a free event — just register so we know you're coming

• We ask for an emergency contact name and number at registration for health and safety purposes

• There is no bad weather contingency — we're going rain or shine, but fingers crossed for sunshine!

• All abilities welcome on both the run and walk options

Please register so we can plan safely and make sure everyone has a great morning. You'll be asked for an emergency contact name and number as part of sign-up — this is standard practice for our led runs and helps keep everyone safe. We'll also ask if you're planning on joining us for a dip in the Lido (just to get an idea of numbers, we won't hold you to it if you change your mind later).
